Litigation Skills Series: Moving Documents into Evidence

Topics:
  • Legal Skills

It will not help you win your case if you have the smoking gun document in your hands, but cannot get it admitted into evidence. That is why you should attend Litigation Skills Series: Moving Documents into Evidence. Expert trial attorney and former administrative law judge Daria Zane, together with D.C. Superior Court judge Todd Edelman will teach the basics of getting the evidence in your case admitted into evidence - especially when you have business records, charts, photographs, ledgers, drawings, letters, emails, or other documentary items.

After learning from this expert duo, you will have the chance to get on your feet and practice your skills in small-group breakout sessions where experienced trial attorneys will provide you individualized constructive feedback.

This training is appropriate for public-interest, law firm, in-house, and government attorneys, as well as law students who have taken evidence and have trial practice or mock trial experience.

Cost: $30 WCL Members; $50 non-members.

Scholarships are available thanks to the generosity of the D.C. Bar Foundation. Email Nancy Lopez (nlopez@wclawyers.org) to apply.
