The D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center's Probate Resource Center provides information and brief legal services to unrepresented parties who have questions about the process of administering an estate in the District of Columbia. The training will introduce lawyers admitted to practice in D.C. to basic estate administration practices and procedures.

Important Information:

This training is appropriate for attorneys only.No particular expertise is required

An experienced probate practitioner is on-site during every session to assist volunteersMalpractice insurance is provided by the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center.

Trainees must commit to volunteering at the Probate Resource Center at least 3 sessions within one year of completing the training. The resource center is open on Tuesday afternoons from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. The Resource Center is located in Building A of D.C. Superior Court, Room 319.
