The D.C. Bar Pro Bono Program's Community Economic Development Project and the Department of Consumer & Regulatory Affairs will be holding a free training on How to Help Small Businesses Navigate DCRA's Regulatory Processes at the Department of Consumer & Regulatory Affairs at 1100 4th Street NW.

The purpose of the training session is to enlighten the pool of lawyers that provide pro bono assistance to aspiring and existing entrepreneurs through the Small Business Brief Advice Legal Clinics on processes at DCRA. This interactive panel, led by senior managers at DCRA, will focus on business licensing, permitting, zoning and the nuts and bolts of starting a small neighborhood-based business.

The training is open to all attorneys. We specifically encourage those who wish to volunteer at the Small Business Brief Advice Legal Clinics to attend.
