Modularity and Reuse in HotDocs Templates

This session will review a variety of ways in which LHI developers can avoid 'reinventing the wheel' in their projects.  That includes standing on the shoulders of fellow developers whose work can be copied, modularizing texts and scripts so that pieces needed in multiple places can be written once and more efficiently maintained, and taking advantage of features like INSERT, ASSEMBLE, the Template Manager, and parameterized computations.  We'll touch on the managerial challenges of reusing modules across heterogeneous template sets, and the important role of standards and architectural planning.
