In Celebration of National Pro Bono Week, the DBA Inn of Court and the Greater Dayton Volunteer Lawyers Project welcomed Prof. Mark Godsey of the Ohio Innocence Project and exoneree Nancy Smith. The Ohio Innocence Project is recognized as one of the most active and successful Innocence Projects in the country, and to date secured the release of 33 individuals on grounds of innocence who together served nearly 600 years in prison for crimes they did not commit.
