The future is here!

This session from the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network Statewide Training Conference will demonstrate how the Pennsylvania (PBA) Free Legal Answers--PA (PBA) FLA--is changing how pro bono is done in the Commonwealth. Learn how PA (PBA) FLA works from the initial registration of an attorney to posting of a client question and having an attorney answer the question.

The session will highlight the PA (PBA) FLA website, show training videos, then bring in the audience to discuss a series of questions tied to how PA(PBA)FLA can help legal aid programs across the state expand their pro bono outreach and deal with clients the programs cannot serve.

Between calls, emails and our various clinics, the PBA Pro Bono Office gets over 6000 requests for help and this new system will allow multiple attorney volunteers to access the questions raised by folks reaching out for help. It will also provide legal aid programs another tool for helping those who they might otherwise have to turn away empty-handed.

Come see the future!
