The National Veterans Legal Services Program (NVLSP) will host an online panel discussion entitled The New Era of Class Actions in Veterans Law on November 17, 2020 at 2:00 PM Eastern. The event is free, but registration is required. 

In 2017 the Federal Circuit overturned the 28-year old position of the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC) that it had no authority to entertain a class action. Given the CAVC’s recent certification of three class actions in 2019, it is an opportune time to take a closer look at class action development in veterans law today.
