In this course we will explore the cycle of ticket debt and how it affects many low-income Texans. We will discuss how folks enter the cycle of ticket debt and the far reaching consequences of driver's license suspension and criminal debt. We will also discuss how attorneys can intervene in this cycle as well as explore the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct's encouragement of pro bono practice. The course will offer .75 hours of CLE credit including .25 hours of ethics credit.
