The New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) is offering a training for attorneys and DOJ accredited representatives on the new Green Light Law in New York State and how it is being implemented at DMV’s across the State. Trainers will describe basic eligibility and documentation required to access an NYS standard driver’s license, quickly review the steps involved, and discuss common issues and red flags that arise for immigrant community members. The session will also provide a brief update on pending litigation pertaining to the Green Light Law.
