Do you ever wish you had a lawyer to review a contract for you, explain what the trickier provisions mean, and advise you on how to edit the language to work in favor of your organization?  This clinic offers an educational overview about contract basics,  pointers on what your organization is committing to when it signs certain contracts, and when it is prudent to seek legal advice before doing so. You’ll then get to meet one-on-one with an attorney who has reviewed your contract of choice, and who will discuss issues or questions about the contract that you have flagged as possibly needing additional explanation or review. The attorney may suggest edits to your document, which you can keep after the clinic. Organizations can sign up based on an existing contract (such as a vendor agreement, template used with program partners or participants, management services agreement, or memorandum of understanding).
