The NH Bar Association’s Pro Bono Referral Program holds criminal record annulment clinics periodically around the state. These clinics are for those interested in annulling (expunging) old NH criminal records. There is a brief overview of the annulment process followed by the opportunity to meet one-on-one with volunteer attorneys to review your situation.

To get the most out of the clinic, you will need to know what the charges were, the date of conviction (if applicable), the terms of sentencing and sentence completion date.

You can obtain your criminal history record at https://www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/nhsp/jib/crimrecords/index.html

You can also call the court call center and request that they e-mail or send you any criminal case summaries on file. You can reach the court call center at 1-855-212-1234.

If you believe you may have items on your driving record, you can request your driving record from the Department of Safety at https://www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/dmv/forms/documents/dsmv505.pdf.
