Pro Bono efforts by law firms leverage the time, skills, and enthusiasm of experienced legal professionals for the benefit of underserved communities, providing better access to quality legal help for those in need. Come learn about Ropes & Gray’s pro bono program and the experience of Stepan Starchenko and Shong Yin (Berkeley Law ’17).  Both Stepan and Shong are associates in the firm’s Intellectual Property group and balance their commercial work with active pro bono practices.  This program provides an excellent opportunity for law students interested in joining a law firm to understand how to maintain their personal and professional commitment to pro bono work.
