Legal Services of North Florida (LSNF) is hosting our Pro Bono Celebration 2019 as an opportunity to recognize those attorneys who have provided exceptional legal help to those in the community most vulnerable to legal issues. Join us on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the premier seafood restaurant, 790 on the Gulf in Destin, Florida. The Pro Bono Celebration is part of a week-long national movement started 10 years ago by the American Bar Association’s National Celebration of Pro Bono.

LSNF will co-host the Pro Bono Celebration 2019 alongside the Okaloosa Bar Association and the Walton County Bar Association. The evening will begin with a keynote by the Florida Bar President John Stewart, discussing topics around pro bono involvement. Following the keynote, LSNF will recognize the outstanding individuals who made significant pro bono contributions through the presentation of Pro Bono Challenge Coins by the retired Judge T. Patt Maney.
These challenge coins are reminiscent of military challenge coins, presented to those recognized for meritorious contributions or invited into an elite group. With a rich history of showing both loyalty and commitment to a cause or group, these coins represent the dedication of attorneys in our community who have stood out amongst their peers as generous contributors to the civil legal needs of so many residents in the First Judicial Circuit. Vulnerable clients facing serious civil legal issues are not guaranteed representation in the courts. Lawyers who provide no cost civil legal support make a major impact on those who often are without a voice.

Pro Bono Celebration 2019 will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 790 on the Gulf Restaurant in Destin, Florida from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $25 and include dinner and a complimentary beverage and 1 general CLE credit hour. Sponsorships opportunities are still available starting at $100 and provide two reserved seats, for more information at https://ProBono.LSNF.org.
