This CLE will cover immigration basics, giving context to many of the issues highlighted in current news and policy, with a focus on asylum and human trafficking. Through this CLE, you will learn how to identify potential avenues of immigration relief for non-citizen clients; gain a working knowledge of application procedures for asylum and trafficking-based immigration benefits; and dispel biases about the prevalence of human trafficking in North Dakota and the US.
