Locations:

DC VAMC Women Veterans Health Clinic, DC VA Medical Center, 50 Irving Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20422

VA Community Resource and Referral Center (CRRC), 1500 Franklin St N.E., Washington, DC 20018

TVC seeks volunteer attorneys to work with volunteer law students at the Transition & Care Management Center Clinic. Volunteers will interview veterans, conduct issue spotlighting, and refer veterans to appropriate legal aid organizations. Areas of law may include veterans’ benefits, military discharge upgrades, family law, consumer law, landlord-tenant law, and employment law. Training and referral materials will be provided onsite. No prior experience is necessary.

Four attorney and two law student volunteers are needed for the Transition & Care Management Center Clinic. Attorneys and students interested in volunteering to participate in the clinic at the Transition & Care Management Center should contact Jeff Janicke, TVC Staff Attorney, at jeff.janicke@vetsprobono.org.
