Legal Help Within Reach Clinic: Wills and Powers of Attorney

Topics:
  • Clinic
  • Wills/Estates

Recipients of Habitat for Humanity homes now own a major asset, some for the first time! Provide them with critical estate planning services through this discrete pro bono opportunity at this Legal Help Within Reach clinic. Volunteers at the clinic will be covered through PILI’s malpractice coverage.

A free CLE program will be offered on October 1st from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Heyl Royster. Included in that training will be a session on wills and Powers of Attorney, with the presenters reviewing the instruments that will be used at the clinic. Volunteers with questions or who are unable to make the October 1st training should contact Shelby Smith by email or by phone at 312-832-5126.

Thank you to co-sponsors Habitat for Humanity of Greater Peoria Area and Illinois Central College.
