Join Curt Campbell and Carolyn Rumer (both of the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia) to discuss two critical safety net benefits available to some District residents: Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, also known as Food Stamps). In addition to tips on how to apply for TANF and/or SNAP, program rules, and how to escalate common issues your clients may face, Curt and Carolyn will also briefly discuss systemic policy issues related to both programs.
