What Every Lawyer Needs to Know About Domestic Violence
From criminal law to family law, civil matters to estate planning, domestic violence can arise in a variety of cases and presents unique legal and practical challenges to practitioners. Learn to identify signs of domestic violence and gain skills in order to empathetically and effectively represent clients who are survivors of domestic violence.
Lunch will be provided and 1.0 hour of MCLE. This event is cosponsored by the Decatur Bar Association and Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation.
The Sixth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee will be hosting this same program along with the presentation of its Community Legal Services Award in Savoy on October 25th
