In the SNAP program, many Seniors are entitled to a minimum allotment of SNAP.  Yet many Seniors forgo  minimum benefits even though certification would be an easy process and  many  will  qualify for a greater allotment. One way  to  encourage greater SNAP participation among Seniors is  to educate them about the SNAP minimum benefit allotment and how Seniors can leverage the minimum allotment  to maximize their SNAP benefits.

Join us for a lunchtime webinar on October 11, 2018, with Economic Self Sufficiency (ESS)  staff from the Department of Children and Families and Cindy Huddleston from Florida Legal Services to learn more about the SNAP minimum benefit allotment so that you can spread the word to Seniors about the value of qualifying for even the minimum allotment of SNAP.
