The Support Center for Child Advocates is hosting its 13th Annual Child Advocates Golf Classic on September 24, 2018 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Philadelphia Cricket Club.

Try your luck (and skill) at one of the top golf courses in the country! Bring clients, colleagues and friends for a day on the greens that will truly make a difference in the lives of the children we serve.

Players will have the opportunity to play on one of the Philadelphia Cricket Clubs famous golf courses:

Wissahickon Golf Course: In 1920, the Club commissioned one of its members, the renowned A.W. Tillinghast, to create a golf course in Flourtown. Now known as Wissahickon, this course shows the work of a design genius at the height of his abilities. The course opened in 1922 and underwent a complete restoration in 2013-14 as it was transformed back to its original design. In 2016, Wissahickon hosted the PGA Constellation Senior Players Championship.

Militia Hill Golf Course: The Club’s Militia Hill course, named for its position overlooking an area steeped in Revolutionary War history, was designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry and opened in 2002 as a wonderful complement to the club’s existing Wissahickon course.

All proceeds from the event will support Child Advocates award-winning project, Children with Complex Medical Needs, a critical program led by a staff attorney and a staff social worker who team with specially-trained volunteer lawyers to secure necessary medical treatment, special education accommodations, rehabilitation services and permanent nurturing homes for our young clients with serious and/or chronic medical needs
