2017 JUSTICE COMMUNITY CONFERENCE OCTOBER 2017

REGISTRATION IS NOW IS OPEN for the 14th Annual Louisiana Justice Community Conference. The Justice Conference will take place on Thursday October 12th and Friday October 13th 2017 at the Crowne Plaza Baton Rouge, 4728 Constitution Ave, Baton Rouge, LA 70808. We are also offering CINC pre-conference by invitation. If you would like to register for the pre-conference in addition to the Justice Community Conference, simply add that item to your shopping cart.

The LSBA is proud to provide the opportunity for Louisiana's civil legal aid attorneys to come together for training on relevant poverty law issues and networking with colleagues from around the state.
To be eligible to attend free-of-charge, you must either:
1)      Be employed full-time by a qualified civil legal aid provider (see list) OR
2)      Provide contract CINC services for a qualified civil legal aid provider (see list)

This year’s conference theme is Access to Justice Heroes. The conference will showcase those “heroes”, often unrecognized, who work to change the lives of Louisiana’s indigent population through their efforts of providing critical civil legal aid.

The outstanding work of the recipients, your public interest peers, will be recognized during the civil legal aid awards ceremony.  Nominations are open for the Legal Service Innovation Award and Legal Service Excellence in Advocacy Award. To nominate a colleague or organization for an award, please fill out a nomination form, available at http://www.lsba.org/ATJ/, and return to Nicole Louque at nicole.louque@lsba.org no later than Friday, August 18, 2017.
