Election Protection in Philadelphia Training

Topics:
  • Training (non-CLE)

Election Protection (EP) is the nation’s largest non-partisan voter protection coalition. In Philadelphia, the effort is led by Pennsylvania Voice, the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, the ACLU of Pennsylvania, and Common Cause Pennsylvania. Volunteers are needed to staff call centers and field programs to answer questions, monitor polls, and identify voter issues. Volunteers sign up for a several-hour shift on Election Day (November 8th) and must attend the training in advance. Election Day shifts are 6:30-11, 10:45-3:30, and 3:15-8.
To register, please complete both of these steps:
1) Email lisa.hurlbutt@temple.edu to register for the training at Temple Law on Monday, November 7th from 4 to 5:30 PM.
2) Sign up to volunteer on election day with the Lawyers’ Committee here, and confirm training location at Temple Law on November 7th.
