Topics:
  • Training (non-CLE)

Suffolk Law Clinical Professor and Director of Suffolk's Health Law Clinic, Sarah Boonin, will provide an introduction to Rogers guardianships - with a focus on those guardianships involving anti-psychotic medications.  This training will be ideal for those attorneys who have some familiarity with non-Rogers guardianships but have not yet handled cases involving "extraordinary medical treatment."  We will discuss the "substituted judgment" standard, the procedural requirements, and pleadings associated with these cases.
