- Continuing Legal Education Program (CLE)
The first portion of the program will include an overview and discussion of the access to justice needs in Tennessee and initiatives to address these needs. The program will examine not only the data related to needs and what is being done to address those needs, but also access to justice through the lens of the Rules of Professional Conduct and the ethical implications of access to justice initiatives. Particular focus will be directed toward the needs of veterans.
The second part of the program will focus on Project Salute, a program in which volunteer attorneys educate veterans on available benefits and assist them in obtaining these benefits. This discussion will focus on the needs that Project Salute addresses and how to become involved in the project.
