Wake Forest University School of Law Pro Bono Project, Education Surrogacy, hosts two tabling events during National Pro Bono Week to conduct informal information interviews. The Education Surrogacy pro bono project provides students in the foster care system with "surrogate parents" for their Individualized Education Plan meetings. Wake Law student volunteers work with Legal Aid of North Carolina and the Department of Social Services and are able to gain experience in interviewing, negotion, research, and education law.
