Government benefits programs can be a tremendous help to struggling clients. Understanding the range of supports available and who can qualify is a challenge for advocates, however. This training will help you increase your understanding of the eligibility requirements and challenges clients on those programs can face. When can benefits be terminated? What should you be aware of in representing your client on housing, family law, domestic abuse, or immigration matters (among others) that could impact or be impacted by their receipt of benefits. Learn from local expert Laura Melnick.
