This year, UT Law’s Fundamentals of Immigration and Nationality Law celebrates 40 years of service to legal practitioners. Enjoy a special exhibit showing some of the proud history of this important event. The conference provides an opportunity to meet with and learn from nationally recognized experts and to interact with colleagues. Get to know your fellow practitioners from around the state and hear how they are dealing with tough issues. UT Law’s Fundamentals of Immigration and Nationality Law—ideal for new entrants to the field or as a refresher for experienced practitioners—provides an overview of U.S. immigration laws, agencies and key terms. This year’s program also features a panel utilizing a common fact pattern to illustrate fundamental concepts in immigration law, including employment, family, inadmissibility/criminality and removals.
