Join us in participating in National Pro Bono Week, an annual celebration that honors the valuable pro bono contributions of the legal community and seeks to inspire greater service to increase access to justice for all. Students are encouraged to participate in one of the week's series of activities and learn about how pro bono service can benefit you and your community.

Students are invited to attend "Pro Bono Boost: How Pro Bono Work Will Advance Your Career" to learn about the personal and professional benefits of engaging in pro bono service. Guest speakers will include Kristen Cooley Lentz , a former Equal Justice Works Fellow and current supervising attorney for Disability Rights Florida, and Greg Coleman, past President of the Florida Bar and a member of the Florida Access to Justice Commission.

The event is co-sponsored by the UF Law Center for Career Development in collaboration with the Association for Public Interest Law (APIL), the Black Law Students Association (BLSA), the Caribbean Law Student Association (CaribLaw), the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) and the Mental Health Law Association.
