You are invited to attend “Meet Us at the Bridge,” an
event hosted by the Nashville Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) to
remember those who have lost their lives to domestic violence in the last year.
Organizations and individuals will also receive awards for their outstanding work in the
fight to end domestic violence. Waller, Lansden, Dorth & Davis, LLP will be recognized
for its work with the Civil-Legal Advocate Program (CLAP), a partnership program of
Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands and Metro Nashville
Government Office of Family Safety that provides free legal representation to those in
Davidson County who would otherwise not be able to afford legal representation
against their abuser.
Diane Lance, department head of the Metro Office of Family Safety and award winners
will be available for interviews at the event. DarKenya W. Waller, managing attorney at
Legal Aid Society’s Nashville office and Coordinator for CLAP, will not be in attendance,
