This all day event at the Vermont State House features workshops, panel discussions and speakers promoting pro bono tools and activities, and a special track on legal help for New Americans, refugees and immigrants. The event is free, but donations are encouraged to be made to the Vermont Bar Foundation. A total of 5+ MCLE credits are available. Networking opportunities are encouraged over lunch provided by the Vermont Bar Association. The day concludes with a ceremonial swearing in of new Vermont attorneys conducted by the Vermont Supreme Court, followed by the Vermont Bar Foundations reception to honor the work of the Vermont Poverty Law Fellows.
