The American Bar Association Section of Litigation Children's Rights Litigation Committee, along with co-sponsor Juvenile Law Center, will host a series of FREE non-CLE teleconference programs focused on the issue of youth transitioning from foster care to adulthood. The focus of these discussions will be convening lawyers across the country to discuss what is currently happening and what needs to happen for this population to assure a successful transition. Practical issues like transition planning and whether the role of lawyers (and the courts) should change once the youth reaches 18 will be discussed. Any questions, please contact Cathy Krebs.

Assuring a successful transition: Innovative Solutions and Looking Ahead Wednesday, January 18, 1:00—2:30 p.m. Eastern

The fifth and final program in this series on youth transitioning from foster care will highlight innovative programs for this unique population, address issues raised during the first four programs and discuss future work, including litigation strategies for transitioning youth.
