The American Bar Association Section of Litigation Children's Rights Litigation Committee, along with co-sponsor Juvenile Law Center, will host a series of FREE non-CLE teleconference programs focused on the issue of youth transitioning from foster care to adulthood. The focus of these discussions will be convening lawyers across the country to discuss what is currently happening and what needs to happen for this population to assure a successful transition. Practical issues like transition planning and whether the role of lawyers (and the courts) should change once the youth reaches 18 will be discussed. Any questions, please contact Cathy Krebs.

Assuring a successful transition: Transition Planning for Special Populations, Tuesday, December 13, 1:00—2:30 p.m. Eastern
The fourth program in this series will focus on transition planning for special populations including LGBTQ youth, pregnant and parenting youth and youth with a disability.
