Bright, Jr., the chair of the Judicial Branch’s Pro Bono Committee, Attorney Jan Chiaretto, Executive Director of Statewide Legal Services and Ms. Claudia Magnan, Pro Bono Coordinator at Statewide Legal Services will be speaking at the Central Connecticut Paralegal Association's " “The Dynamic Legal Landscape:  Why Pro Bono Service is Important for Paralegals and How They Can Help”.  Ever-increasing budget cuts leave more and more low-income individuals without access to essential legal services. Paralegals have a unique opportunity to use their skills and knowledge to assist the community and ensure those in need are afforded the opportunity to participate in the legal system. Join us and learn more about the growing need for pro bono work and the many ways in which you can help. This meeting will be on October 16th at the Manchester Country Club in Manchester, Connecticut.
