Over the last several months thousands of unaccompanied youth have fled Central America seeking safety and refuge. Over 2,800 have been placed in Maryland. Any lawyer, whether Maryland-barred or not, is eligible to volunteer in this effort by providing pro bono representation to these vulnerable children and/or mentorship to other pro bono attorneys. This training features a Morning Session from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM (State Court Proceedings) and an Afternoon Session from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM (Immigration Court Proceedings). Attendees can participate in one or both sessions.
