Free Guardianship MCLE

Topics:
  • Family Law/Matrimonial
  • Continuing Legal Education Program (CLE)
  • Pro Bono Program/Legal Services Organization

This free MCLE is an opportunity to be trained in the practice, procedure, and advocacy skills needed to represent a petitioner in guardianship of the minor cases (no estates) in San Diego County. Guardianships are often needed when parents are deceased, uninvolved, in jail, or unwilling to continue to care for their child. It is very difficult for proposed guardians to successfully navigate the legal system without assistance of counsel. Your representation will not only benefit the clients, but will enable the child to remain in a safe and stable home. All participants will be provided with a manual and mentorship.

***This live training focuses on San Diego specific practice and procedure. Before attending this training, please watch the first two hours of Practising Law Institute's free 2012 CA Guardianship training at: http://bit.ly/GNWdAO
