On Saturday, October 26, 2013, from 10am-3pm, CLAIM will hold a training for our Jail Clinic. This five hour training covers topics related to family law like parental rights and responsibilities, guardianship (short-term and probate), domestic relations (divorce, custody, visitation, and child support), and basic DCFS issues. We have applied for 4.5 hours of MCLE credit, including 1 hour of professional responsibility credit. This training will also discuss the logistics of visiting clients inside of Cook County Department of Corrections or rehabilitation centers. This training will be held at Northwestern University School of Law. The exact room will be sent to participants closer to the actual date.
