The Volunteer Resource Center (VRC) Consumer Debt Project provides an opportunity for attorneys to defend individuals being sued by debt buyer plaintiffs for debt collection on credit card matters. This training will provide basic information on consumer credit law, as well as practical information on legal defenses which can be used in collection cases. The materials include sample forms and pleadings.
