The Poverty Simulation is a two part seminar with an interactive 2 hour poverty simulation scheduled from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. In this interactive seminar, participants will have the opportunity to experience some of the challenges faced by those living in low-income communities. The seminar takes participants through four 15 minute long "weeks" where participants must obtain employment, pay bills, feed their families, and respond to unexpected challenges. There is a registration fee of $50.00 for non-attorney participants. Please register by Thursday, October 17, 2013. Check-in begins at 9:30 am on Tuesday, October 22, 2013.
