MVLP will join the Capital Area Bar Association (CABA) and the Access to Justice Commission to sponsor three, consecutive "Lawyer in the Library" events at the Eudora Welty Library on 300 North State Street in Jackson. Participants will have a twenty minute, free consultation with an attorney on several legal topics, including family law (October 21), criminal law (October 22) and disability and social security (October 23). The events will be from 3:00-7:00 p.m. each night. Participants should sign up at the Eudora Welty Library. Attorneys interested in volunteering for these pro bono events should contact Tiffany Graves at tgraves@mvlp.net. CABA has been a consistent supporter of MVLP and we are excited to collaborate with them on this event, especially during "Celebrate Pro Bono" week.
