The Connecticut Bar Association Paralegals Section and Connecticut Bar Foundation James W. Cooper Fellows are co-hosting a reception to benefit the Connecticut Innocence Fund on October 24 at the Connecticut Bar Association. Attorney Karen Goodrow, Director of the Connecticut Innocence Project, and Kenneth Ireland, a recent exoneree, will be guest speakers at the event.

The Connecticut Innocence Fund was created to assist those persons who were exonerated after being wrongfully convicted; the fund provides them with a loan to help them get back into the mainstream of life upon their release from prison. All contributions obtained from the event will be donated to the Connecticut Innocence Fund. All donations are tax deductible.
