University of Alabama School of Law will spotlight the work of Morris Dees, (Class of 1960), as part of the Profiles in Service Project. Mr. Dees is the co-founder of the Southern Poverty Law Center. Mr. Dees Has been recognized for his efforts to ensure that all people, including the most vulnerable members of society, receive access to justice. SPLC is known for, among other things, its successful lawsuits against white supremacist groups.
