As a small way of saying THANK YOU, we will be serving coffee, donuts and pastries in the morning and lemonade and cookies in the afternoon at our two largest courthouses in the Tenth Judicial Circuit, Peoria, Illinois on Thursday, August 25th and Friday August 26th. The staff of Prairie State Legal Services, Judges, and members of the Peoria County Bar Association Pro Bono Committee will be there to greet and thank the attorneys for their generosity in providing pro bono services to our community. We will have volunteer registration forms available, and we will be giving out Celebrate Pro Bono stickers. Two weeks prior to the event large posters will be in the courthouses announcing the event and again thanking the attorneys. Rather than asking the attorneys to staff a clinic or hold a CLE, as they give of themselves each and every day, we wanted to hold an event just to honor their commitment.
