Put Something Back, the DCBA Young Lawyers Section & Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. co-sponsor a Small Claims Clinic at Legal Services, 3000 Biscayne Blvd., Suite 500, from 5:00 -8 p.m. on October 25, 2012. At the clinic, pro se litigants meet for 20 minutes with a volunteer attorney who discusses the individual's case and prepares an outline telling them who to sue, where to file, how much to ask for and what will be needed to prove their case. Various self-help materials are also available at the clinic. Pro bono attorneys do NOT represent the litigant in their small claims case, as the clinic is designed to assist litigants to proceed pro se.
