Ten years ago, Judge Edward Ginsburg fulfilled a promise to himself. He vowed that when he retired he would do something to help unrepresented litigants like those he saw day after day in the probate and family court. And Senior Partners for Justice was born, in partnership with the Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Boston Bar Association. In the ten years since its creation, Senior Partners for Justice has grown to include hundreds of volunteers - lawyers, law students, and retired judges. SPJ volunteers have represented thousands of low-income individuals who would have otherwise faced the legal system without a lawyer.
On October 18th from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., please join us to celebrate two momentous and joyous occasions: the 10th anniversary of Senior Partners and Judge Ginsburg's 80th birthday. The party will be held at the Grand Circle Gallery at 347 Congress Street in the Seaport District in Boston. Go to website listed below for details and to RSVP. We hope to see you there.
