This program is designed to introduce volunteer attorneys to the various state and federal benefit programs available to the low income clients whom they encounter in pro bono clinics and case work. Expert faculty will teach participants when to refer clients to appropriate assistance programs and to identify issues which should be referred to legal services offices or attorney specialists for follow up.
