Crossroads for Florida Kids, Inc. is a new nonprofit organization created to provide pro bono legal representation for children in dependency and delinquency proceedings, and for homeless teens. Professional liability insurance is provided for our pro bono attorneys, as is training and mentoring.

The HCBA Trial Lawyers and Litigation Section has generously agreed to sponsor our first dependency training, provided by Florida's Children First, on October 22, 2012, from 1-5 p.m. at the Chester H. Ferguson Law Center (bar building). Four hours of CLE credit is available, including one hour of ethics credit.

Join us in helping children in our community. To volunteer as a mentor or to register for the training session, contact Rosemary Armstrong at (813) 873-7490, rosemary@crossroadsfloridakids.org, or Allison Singer at (813) 335-0776, allison.willis.singer@gmail.com.
