This annual event honors pro bono service and law related education with awards and recognition. The event occurs during the Indiana State Bar Association Annual Meeting. At the event the Randall T. Shepard Award is given annually to a participant in the legal community who has dedicated his or her time and services to the poor of Indiana. Nominees for the Randall T. Shepard Award may be judicial appointees, plan administrators, Commission members, individuals, firms, corporate legal departments and all others either providing legal services full-time, part-time or on a voluntary basis to the poor.
