Legal Aid of San Mateo County will train attorneys on understanding Medicare and Medi-Cal, including program eligibility, the interplay between the programs, and how to help people obtain the benefits to which they are entitled. With the information presented at this training, the attorneys volunteering at Fenwick's Health Care Clinics will assist elderly and disabled adults to understand their coverage and ways that they can make their care more affordable.
