Low income artists and arts organizations in South Carolina have a new resource for legal assistance. The South Carolina Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts is an online service that provides pro bono assistance to the arts community. The resource is available at www.SCvolunteerlawyersforthearts.org.

The SCVLA, a project of the USC School of Law Pro Bono Program, the USC School of Law Nonprofit Organizations Clinic, the SC Arts Commission and the SC Bar Pro Bono Program, refers those needing legal assistance to lawyers who have agreed to donate their time.
