In recognition of the National Pro Bono Celebration Week, Legal Aid of North Carolina (LANC) will have an open house for attorneys at its new Gastonia office on Tuesday, October 27, 5:00-6:30 pm. Refreshments will be served.

"Although we actually moved in June to our new office at 1508 S. York Road, it has taken several months to properly up fit the office while continuing to provide legal services to our clients," said Sharon Dove, managing attorney. "National Pro Bono Celebration Week provides an ideal time to invite and thank our pro bono attorneys for their support of our clients and our mission to provide free legal advice to low-income persons in civil matters."

A formal invitation has been mailed to members of the Bars and Judiciary of Judicial Districts 27A (Gaston County) and 27B (Cleveland County and Lincoln County).

The LANC-Gastonia Office serves eligible clients in the three-county area encompassing Cleveland County, Gaston County and Lincoln County, and is located at 1508 South York Road in Gastonia.

Legal Aid of North Carolina (LANC) is a statewide, nonprofit law firm that provides free legal services in civil matters to eligible, low-income people in all 100 counties in North Carolina through 24 geographically located offices in North Carolina.
